These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Red Honey LLC for use of Ellie, including the iOS app, website, share extension, and AI connector. By using Ellie, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Ellie is licensed, not sold. Apple is not a party to these Terms except as an intended third-party beneficiary where required by Apple's standard licensed-application terms.
Red Honey LLC and its licensors own Ellie, its software, interface, branding, and original content. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use Ellie on Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by the App Store rules.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, rent, sell, sublicense, scrape, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to Ellie except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Ellie Pro is offered through auto-renewing App Store subscriptions. The current US configuration includes annual subscriptions at $89.99 per year with either a 3-day free trial or a $4.99 paid first-month introduction. Pricing, tax, currency, and offer eligibility shown by Apple at purchase control over website examples.
Payment is charged to your Apple account. Unless canceled, the subscription renews automatically under Apple's rules. Manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Deleting Ellie or your Ellie account does not itself cancel the subscription.
You authorize Ellie to process the public URLs and content you intentionally submit so we can create summaries, takeaways, tags, transcripts when available, search indexes, notes, plans, and other requested features. You also consent to collection of technical information needed for updates, support, security, analytics, and service improvement, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your rights under these Terms terminate automatically if you materially breach them. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or protection of the service and its users. On termination, stop using Ellie; provisions that by nature should survive will remain in effect.
You retain ownership of content you create in Ellie. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transform, and transmit that content to provide the service.
Saved social posts and webpages belong to their respective creators or rights holders. You are responsible for choosing content you have the right to process and for complying with third-party platform terms. Ellie does not endorse or control third-party content and does not promise that a source will remain available.
Summaries, takeaways, tags, search results, plans, and assistant responses can be incomplete or inaccurate. They are provided for general informational and organizational purposes, not as medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Review important output and original sources before relying on it.
You may connect Ellie to a compatible third-party AI assistant. You choose an access scope during OAuth. Read only permits supported searches and reads; Read and organize can additionally perform supported reversible organization, user-owned edits, note actions, and memory actions on your behalf.
You are responsible for the assistant and workspace you connect, the instructions you give it, reviewing proposed actions, and disconnecting access when it is no longer appropriate. Do not use the connector to violate law, third-party rights, platform rules, or another person's privacy. Third-party AI providers operate under their own terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ellie is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these terms may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Red Honey LLC and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption arising from Ellie. Any total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for Ellie during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where law requires otherwise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your residence requires otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
